RICHLAND RECYCLES DAY is Saturday, May 14, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the SC State Fairgrounds.
Drop off your broken or unwanted household items to have them responsibly recycled. You don’t have to get out of your car—they unload everything for you!
Batteries, Paint, Cooking oil, Mattresses, Electronics (including stereos, computers, televisions, microwaves, telephones, fax machines, small appliances, power tools, etc.), Fertilizer that contains herbicides, Pesticides, Fluorescent light bulbs, Hazardous household Products (including cleaning products, insecticides, etc.), Paper for shredding (limit five boxes), Scrap metal (including stoves, washers, bicycles, metal chairs, shelves, lawn mowers emptied of gasoline, refrigerators, air conditioners, etc.), Tires (including car and light truck tires, bicycle and motorcycle tires – limit 8 per family.
