BUMS SEPTEMBER TOUR OF OLIVER GOSPEL MISSION AND TOBY’S PLACE
The BUMS tour of Oliver Gospel Mission and Toby’s Place will be Friday, September 14. Meet in the back church parking lot at 9:15 a.m. to leave by 9:30 a.m. Lunch will be at Kiki’s Chicken and Waffles on Two Notch Rd. Everyone is welcome to come.
For over 129 years, Oliver Gospel Mission has been an integral part of social services in Columbia. The Christian-based ministry was founded by Rev. Robert Oliver in 1888 and has provided a variety of ministries to men. Recently, Oliver Gospel Mission has built and is operating Toby’s Place with an emphasis on transforming lives empowered by the Gospel of Jesus Christ and equipping women with the skills to maintain stable, secure employment and housing.
