“Though we will be practicing social distancing in the coming days,
that does not mean that we cannot practice spiritual closeness.”
Christians are called to love our neighbors – and especially to take care of those around us who are vulnerable – including those who are threatened by illness. To this end, your church pastors and leaders have made several difficult decisions that we believe are in the best interest of living out our Christian calling to lead with love and serve with compassion.
Beginning immediately, we will temporarily suspend worship, Sunday School, choir rehearsal, committee meetings, and small group gatherings at Bethel. We will continually monitor the situation and communicate to you regarding resumption of activities as we learn and discern what is best for our community.
Our Preschool is closed through the end of the month, and the Spaghetti Supper scheduled for this Thursday, March 19 has been POSTPONED.
All youth and children’s activities are cancelled until the public schools reopen.
Our Lenten Lunch and Bible Study at Windsor UMC will not be held for the next two weeks.
Holy Yoga has been cancelled until further notice.
