Knowing, Loving, Serving…
So the World Will Know Christ’s Love

Sunday, July 19, 2020

Good morning, friends,

We invite you to join us for virtual worship today! You may find today’s service on YouTube, posted to our Bethel UMC Facebook page and shared on our Bethel website. Links to these sites and an order of worship are shared below.

Thank you to everyone who came out last Sunday afternoon to enjoy The Chillin Cow Ice Cream and support Harvest Hope Food Bank. We collected $165.00 and 210 pounds of food were donated! WOW!

Homeless No More needs our help to gather items for the families at The Family Shelter, St. Lawrence Place, and Live Oak Place.  Join us in Bethel’s back parking lot this Tuesday, July 21st from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. to support local food truck Spuddering Around for dinner and drop-off donations of paper towels, toilet paper, face masks, Disinfectant Wipes & Spray, and Tide Pods for Homeless No More.  Donations of individually wrapped snacks for the children’s summer camp are also being collected.  Spuddering Around is a local food truck the specializes in loaded baked potatoes.

Looking for a Project?  For many of us we are at the point where we need something else to occupy our time.  At some point in the late fall, I hope to have a Silent Auction for afghans and or baby blankets. Would you be willing to knit or crochet one or the other – both would be great! All proceeds will go to Bethel’s scholarship fund.  It was with great pleasure that  a scholarship was awarded to Lindsay Conrath for $2500.00 to help with her college expenses! We’re one of the few churches that offers a scholarship to a deserving high school senior graduate.  For the last 25 years we have given thousands of dollars to our graduates!  Please let me  know if you’re interested.  Your help will be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!  Bonnie Lutz  803-667-0495.

If you would like to receive a DVD of our worship service please email a request to Sheryl at  We would be happy to send you one!
