Knowing, Loving, Serving…
So the World Will Know Christ’s Love
Forgiveness is the fragrance the violet sheds on the heel that has crushed it.

Dear Bethel,

We invite you to join us for worship today, on the second Sunday of Lent. The season of Lent is a time of penitence, of seeking forgiveness for our sins, drawing closer to God and preparing our hearts for the celebration of Easter.

Lent and Easter will look a little different here at Bethel in 2021 due to COVID-19, but we are offering multiple ways to observe the season and trust this will be a faithful journey for us all.

If you missed our Ash Wednesday service, I hope you will make time to watch it this week. It is available on our Facebook page, YouTube channel and website.

Each Wednesday this Lenten Season, Pastor Julie will offer a Lenten Bible Study – we’re going to try this both in-person AND virtually. If you feel comfortable meeting in person, please join me in the PAB on Wednesdays at 11am. If you would like to join virtually, please let our church office know and we will send you a link to join via Zoom. You may find today’s worship service on YouTube and posted to our Bethel UMC Facebook page. Links to our Facebook page, YouTube channel and an order of worship are shared below.
