Give the Gift of Better Vision
Rev. Dr. Luke Rhyee, a member of the SC Annual Conference who served in the Columbia District, is currently serving as a missionary in Guatemala. His mission is “Healing Guatemala,” which is a non-profit organization that focuses on healing disease, poverty and the soul. For this mission, Rev. Dr. Rhyee has requested that used glasses be collected and sent to Guatemala.
At Bethel, we are collecting old reading glasses (prescription or readers) and eyeglass cases you’re no longer using through Wednesday, September 29th. Please drop off your donations in the wicker basket in the hallway next to the church office. The UMW will deliver the donations to the collection point, Ashland UMC.
