Dear Bethel,
Join us for worship this Sunday at Bethel UMC! We offer Sunday School for all ages at 10:00 a.m. in the Education Building and Traditional Worship in the Sanctuary at 11:00 a.m.
My friends, after the mass shootings in Ulvade, Texas and Bufalo, New York, and the tragic loss of lives, we will pause our worship series on Ted Lasso this week. Today, Pastor Julie will be preaching from the Gospel of Mark’s first chapter, and in case you need a content warning, we will be talking about gun violence in worship. Do you have a friend of neighbor who might be grieving, lonely, scared or anxious following the events of this week? Why not call them in the morning and invite them to worship. I believe you will both be blessed by our time together, exploring a faithful response to tragedy in our midst..
*Masks are recommended for all persons while inside our buildings.* We did have two members test positive for COVID19 this week, after having been in worship last week. If you are feeling unwell please stay home, and if you test positive after being around others at church, please notify the church office. Thank you.
If you are unable to attend our in-person worship at Bethel today, we invite you to join us virtually via LIVE STREAM on our YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOPfIqRQ6Nt6B3-bxNyPJDA
