The youth and children of Bethel UMC Columbia are involved in various outreach projects and missions throughout the year including:Youth Service Fund supported by the Methodist Youth.

  • Collecting, raising and sending funds to the United Methodist Children’s Ministry and the South Carolina Youth Service Fund
  • Collect school supplies for the Cooperative Ministry
  • Food drives for Harvest Hope Food Bank
  • Homeworks
  • Souper Bowl campaign against hunger each winter
  • Salkehatchie Summer Work Camps
  • Quarterly visits to retirement communities and to homebound members of Bethel
